Hot, yummy sourdough bread is so amazingly good! Some people find it hard to imagine that making it could be broken down into simple steps - since the whole idea of having some sort of "starter" for the dough and maintaining it sounds a little bit like too much work.
We always enjoy having sourdough bread in San Francisco and it's such a delicious treat with a bowl of soup or sliced up for comfort-food sandwiches any day of the week.
These great tips and simple steps outline how you can set up a routine to consistently make and enjoy your own sourdough bread.
P.S. While it is recommended to bake the bread in a Dutch Oven or a round covered stoneware baking dish (La Cloche), if you don't have one of those, simply shape the loaves into ovals and bake (see more details below infographic).

If you don't have a Dutch oven, shape the loaves into ovals and place on a lightly greased or parchment paper covered baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
