Hot, yummy sourdough bread is so amazingly good!  Some people find it hard to imagine that making it could be broken down into simple steps - since the whole idea of having some sort of "starter" for the dough and maintaining it sounds a little bit like too much work. We always enjoy having sourdough bread in San Francisco and it's such a delicious treat with a bowl of soup or sliced up for comfort-food sandwiches any day of the week. These great tips and simple steps outline how you can set up a routine to consistently make and enjoy your own sourdough bread. P.S. While it is recommended to bake the bread in a Dutch Oven or a round covered stoneware baking dish (La Cloche), if you don't have one of those, simply shape the loaves into ovals and bake (see more details below infographic).   Source: Fix.com Blog If you don't have a Dutch oven, shape the loaves into ovals and place on a lightly greased or parchment paper covered baking sheet.  Bake at 425 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
