Ingredients:
- 1 cups - unsalted butter
- 1 cups - granulated sugar
- 1 - large egg
- 1 teaspoons - pure vanilla
- 2 teaspoons - baking powder
- 3 cups - all-purpose flour
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, cream butter & sugar with electric mixer for 3 minutes.
Beat egg and vanilla; add to the sugar and butter.
Sift baking powder and flour; add flour mixture to the wet ingredients 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. The dough will be very stiff.
Roll dough to 3/8 inch and cut out using cookie cutters.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned.
Cool completely.
