Wilted Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients:

  1. 1 - medium head of cabbage shredded
  2. 1 - medium onion sliced thin
  3. 3/4 cups - sugar
  4. 1 cups - vinegar
  5. 1 teaspoons - dry mustard
  6. 1 teaspoons - sugar
  7. 1 teaspoons - salt
  8. 1 teaspoons - celery seed
  9. 3/4 cups - oil

Directions:

Layer cabbage and onions in a bowl. Sprinkle sugar over. Do Not Mix!

Combine vinegar, mustard, salt, celery seed, oil and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour hot mixture over cabbage and onions. Do Not Mix!

Let set in refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight. Mix before serving.
