Whole Wheat Rolls

Ingredients:

  1. 1 packages - yeast (1 tablespoon)
  2. 1/4 cups - warm water
  3. 1 cups - milk scalded
  4. 1 teaspoons - salt
  5. 1/3 cups - shortening or butter
  6. 1/4 cups - brown sugar
  7. 1 tablespoons - molasses
  8. 2 - eggs beaten
  9. 2 cups - whole wheat flour
  10. 2 cups - all-purpose flour

Directions:

Soften yeast in water.

Mix together milk, salt, shortening, brown sugar, molasses and eggs.

Add whole wheat flour; mix well. Add yeast mixture; mix well. Add rest of flour; mix well.

Place into greased bowl and let rise. Punch dough down, and let rise again.

Form into rolls; let rise.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes.
