Ingredients:
- 2/3 cups - low-fat sour cream
- 1/2 cups - water
- 2 tablespoons - flour
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 1/2 teaspoons - dried rubbed sage
- 1/4 teaspoons - black pepper
- 4 - pork chops (6 oz. each)
- 1/4 teaspoons - salt
- 1/8 teaspoons - pepper
- 1 teaspoons - olive oil
- 1/2 cups - chopped onion
- 8 ounces - sliced mushrooms
- 1 cloves - garlic minced
- 1/2 cups - whiskey
Directions:
In a small bowl combine sour cream, water, flour, salt, sage and black pepper; set aside.
Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper; heat oil in large non-stick skillet at medium high heat. Add pork; sauté for 5 minutes on each side 'til golden. Remove pork from pan.
To skillet, add chopped onion, sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Sauté for 3 minutes; carefully add whiskey. Cook for 1 minute until liquid almost evaporates.
Stir sour cream mixture into pan. Return pork to pan. Spoon sauce over pork.
Bake, covered, at 300 degrees F for 1 to 1-1/2 hours.
