Ingredients:
- 1/2 cups - water
- 1/2 cups - sugar
- 6 cups - watermelon cubed, seeded
- 2 tablespoons - lemon juice
Directions:
Combine water and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil and cook, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Let cool.
Place watermelon, in batches, in container of food processor; process until smooth.
Combine sugar mixture, pureed watermelon, and lemon juice. Pour into an 8-inch square pan; freeze until firm.
Break mixture into large pieces and place in batches in container of food processor; process until fluffy, but not melted. Return mixture to pan.
To serve: Spoon sorbet into individual dessert dishes.
To store: Cover tightly and freeze until firm and up to 1 week.
