Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pounds - ground turkey meat
  2. 1/2 cups - favorite salsa
  3. 4 - English muffins (wheat or whole grain for healthier version)
  4. 4 slices - Swiss cheese

Directions:

Take 4 oz. of the turkey meat, (1/4 of the package) and mix in 2 tbs. of salsa and form a firm patty. (This is difficult because the salsa makes it more slippery.)

Heat a lightly greased medium frying pan. Cook patty for about 7-10 minutes, covered.

While the patty is cooking, toast your English muffin.

Flip patty and cook an additional 5-7 minutes, adding your cheese just before removing patty from the pan.

Assemble and enjoy.
