Ingredients:
- 1 - medium sized onion
- 1/4 cups - green pepper cut into strips
- 1 1/2 cups - sliced celery
- 1/4 cups - butter
- 1 cups - hot water
- 1/4 teaspoons - salt
- 1 cans - tuna broken into large pieces
- 1 cans - chow mein vegetables (No. 2 can) drained
- 1 teaspoons - cold water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons - corn starch
- 2 tablespoons - soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoons - sugar
- - Chinese fried noodles or cooked rice for serving with
Directions:
Quarter and separate the sections of the onion. Cook onion, green pepper strips, and sliced celery in butter for 3 minutes.
Add hot water and salt and cook for 5 minutes.
Add tuna and chow mein vegetables; heat thoroughly.
Combine the cold water, corn starch, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir into mixture, and cook 1 minute longer.
Serve over Chinese fried noodles or rice.
