*1 container of fresh, peeled and sliced pineapple can be substituted for canned pineapple.

Ingredients:
- 1 cans - 20-oz. Pineapple slices* With juice reserved
- 1 teaspoons - Butter
- 1/2 teaspoons - Brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoons - Ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoons - Ground nutmeg
- 1 whole - Pound cake Cut into 6 slices
- 3 cups - Vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cups - Caramel sauce
Directions:
1. Combine 1/3 C. of the pineapple juice, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a small microwave-sage bowl. Cover the bowl w/ plastic wrap and microwave on High power for 1 to 2 minutes or until bubbly.
2. Brush six slices of pineapple and pound cake w/ the syrup mixture and set on a foil-lined tray sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
3. Heat charcoal for 3o min. or gas grill 10 min. with lid closed. Place the foil-lined tray with prepared pineapple and cake slices on the grade and grill each side uncovered for 1 to 2 minutes, brushing each side with the remaining prepared sauce.
4. Arrange the grilled pound cake slices on dessert plates and top w/ a slice of grilled pineapple, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a tablespoon of caramel sauce.
5. Serve immediately.
