Tomato Salad

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pints - Fresh cherry tomatoes
  2. 1/4 cups - Purple onion Finely sliced
  3. 3 tablespoons - Balsamic vinegar
  4. - Splash of olive oil
  5. 1 tablespoons - Fresh thyme and basil, mixed
  6. 2 cloves - Garlic
  7. - Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  8. - Salt, to taste

Directions:

1. Cut tomatoes in half. Put in bowl and add onion, vinegar and oil.
2. Chop fresh herbs and add to bowl.
3. Chop garlic into pieces and take large knife on its side and smash it into a paste. Add to salad.
4. Add pepper and salt to taste.
5. Put into a container with a lid and shake to mix. Best i sits in refrigerator for at least an hour or two before serving, shaking periodically to mix.
