Thumb Print Cookies

Ingredients:

  1. 8 ounces - cream cheese
  2. 3/4 cups - butter softened
  3. 1 cups - powdered sugar
  4. 2 1/4 cups - flour
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - baking soda
  6. 1/2 cups - chopped pecans
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - vanilla
  8. - peach or raspberry preserves

Directions:

Beat cream cheese, sugar and butter until smooth.

Add flour and baking soda and blend. Add vanilla and pecans. Mix, cover and chill for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Make 1-inch balls and put on cookie sheet. Make thumb print, add jam to fill thumb print, and bake at 350 degrees F for 14-16 minutes.

Cool and store.
