Theresa's Raspberry Thumb Prints

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - butter softened at room temperature
  2. 1/2 cups - confectioners' sugar
  3. 2 cups - sifted flour
  4. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - baking powder
  6. - jam flavor or flavors of your choice (I use raspberry)

Directions:

I use a pastry cutter to mix this.

Roll into small balls and press thumb into center. Fill thumb print indentation with jam.

Bake at 350 for approximately 8 minutes. I often use the bottom of a food color container to make the print and I spray it with Pam so it doesn't stick.
