The World's Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  1. 1 teaspoons - Baking soda
  2. 1 teaspoons - Salt
  3. 2 1/4 cups - All Purpose Flour
  4. 1/2 cups - Butter softened to room temperature
  5. 1/2 cups - Shortening
  6. 3/4 cups - Granulated sugar
  7. 3/4 cups - Brown sugar
  8. 1 teaspoons - Vanilla extract
  9. 2 - Large eggs
  10. 10 ounces - Nestle chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325°.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.

Beat the butter, shortening, brown and granulated sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy. add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for approximately 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
