Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoons - Baking soda
- 1 teaspoons - Salt
- 2 1/4 cups - All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cups - Butter softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cups - Shortening
- 3/4 cups - Granulated sugar
- 3/4 cups - Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoons - Vanilla extract
- 2 - Large eggs
- 10 ounces - Nestle chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
Beat the butter, shortening, brown and granulated sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy. add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for approximately 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
