Ingredients:

  1. 1 ounces - real grenadine
  2. 3/4 ounces - lemon juice
  3. 4 dashes - Peychaud's bitters
  4. 3 - mint leaves
  5. - ice
  6. 2 ounces - chilled tonic water
  7. - mint sprig if desired, for garnish

Directions:

Combine grenadine, lemon juice, bitters and mint leaves in a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake until tin is well-frosted and very cold, about 20 seconds. Strain into a Collins glass over ice.

Top with chilled tonic water and garnish with a sprig of mint.
