Thai Green Khichdi with Kadhi

Ingredients:

  1. 15 leaves - Basil
  2. 1/2 cups - Coriander
  3. 1 tablespoons - Lemon Juice
  4. 5 cloves - Garlic
  5. 3 pieces - Green Chilies
  6. 1/2 pieces - Ginger
  7. 2 sticks - Lemon Grass
  8. 1 tablespoons - Onion Chopped
  9. 1 teaspoons - Lemon Zest
  10. 1 teaspoons - Oil
  11. 1 tablespoons - Ghee
  12. 1/4 teaspoons - Cumin Seeds
  13. 2 tablespoons - French Beans Blanched
  14. 2 tablespoons - Capsicum Chopped
  15. 2 tablespoons - Green Peas Blanched
  16. 2 teaspoons - Broccoli Blanched
  17. 2 tablespoons - Shahi Khichdi Masala
  18. - Green Paste As Required
  19. 1 cups - Toor Dal and Rice Boiled with turmeric and salt
  20. 2 tablespoons - Coriander
  21. 1 tablespoons - Besan
  22. 1/2 cups - Curd
  23. 1 1/4 cups - Water
  24. 1 tablespoons - Ghee
  25. 1/4 teaspoons - Mustard Seeds
  26. 1/4 teaspoons - Cumin Seeds
  27. 1/4 teaspoons - Fenugreek Leaves
  28. 2 pieces - Green Chilies
  29. 10 leaves - Kadipatta
  30. 3 teaspoons - Kadhi Masala
  31. 1 tablespoons - Sugar
  32. 1 teaspoons - Lemon Juice
  33. - Coriander As Required
  34. - Radish To Garnish
  35. - Marinated Onions To Garnish, add salt and a bit of beet for color

Directions:

For Green Paste
Crush everything and make the paste.

For Khichdi
Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds.
Add french beans, peas, capsicum and broccoli and saute.
Now add khichdi masala, green paste, khichdi and mix together.
Add coriander and mix.

For Kadhi
In a bowl, take besan, curd and water and whisk together.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek leaves, green chilies, curry leaves and kadhi masala.
Now add besan mixture, water and sugar and cook together.
Now add lemon juice and coriander.

Serve hot.
