Take Along Taco Salad

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pounds - ground beef
  2. 3/4 cups - water
  3. 1 1/4 ounces - Taco Seasoning Mix
  4. 1/2 cups - sour cream
  5. 2 cups - shredded lettuce
  6. 1/4 cups - Taco Sauce
  7. 12 - Taco Shells or White Corn Taco Shells, warmed and crumbled
  8. 1 cups - red onion, chopped
  9. 1 cups - mild cheddar cheese, shredded
  10. - Chopped tomatoes optional
  11. - Sliced ripe olives optional

Directions:

BROWN beef; drain. Add water and seasoning mix. Prepare according to seasoning mix directions; cool.

COMBINE sour cream and taco sauce in small bowl. Toss taco shells, lettuce, onion, cheese, tomatoes and olives in large, resealable plastic bag. Add beef mixture and sour cream mixture; toss well. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Top with additional taco sauce, if desired.
