Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoons - chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoons - garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoons - onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoons - crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoons - dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoons - paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoons - ground cumin
- 1 teaspoons - sea salt
- 1 teaspoons - black pepper
- 1 pounds - extra lean ground beef
- 1 - small onion chopped
- 2 cloves - garlic crushed
- 2 cans - corn
- 2 cans - pinto beans
- 2 cans - Ranch Style beans with jalapenos
- 2 cans - RoTel hot, if you like it spicy
- - cayenne pepper to taste
- - salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Directions:
For Taco Seasoning:
In a small bowl, mix together the taco seasoning ingredients; store in an airtight container.
For Taco Soup:
1. Brown the ground beef in a non-stick pan or using low-calorie cooking spray, such as PAM olive oil.
2. Once the beef is browned, add in all the other ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
3. Season to taste and serve topped with shredded cheese from your Healthy Extra 'a' choice or simply enjoy it as it is!
