Sweet & Spicy Glazed Brisket

Ingredients:

  1. 4 pounds - Fully-trimmed brisket
  2. 1 cups - Brown sugar Or brown sugar substitute
  3. 1 tablespoons - Ground cumin
  4. 2 teaspoons - Ground cloves
  5. 2 teaspoons - Paprika

Directions:

1. Preheat grill to medium-low.
2. Score brisket using a sharp knife to make shallow cuts in the surface, about 1/4-in. deep and 1-in. apart.
3. In a small mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, cumin, cloves and paprika.
4. Rub brown sugar mixture over surface of brisket and into scores.
5. Place brisket fat-side down on grill. Smoke 2 hours without turning.
6. Preheat oven to 250.
7. Remove meat from grill, wrap tightly in heavy-duty aluminum foil. Place on a baking sheet. Bake 2 hours.
8. Remove from oven, allow to stand 30 min. to 1 hour before serving.
