Sweet Corn on the Cob

  1. 8 ears - sweet corn husks removed
  2. 4 cups - water enough to cover corn
  3. 1 1/2 cups - whole milk or half and half
  4. 2 tablespoons - sugar or honey
  5. 1 teaspoons - salt


In large pan, bring 3-4 cups of water, milk, sugar and salt to a boil over high heat. Add sweet corn to rolling boiling water and cook 5 minutes. Remove corn from pot with tongs and immediately brush with butter.
