Sweet and Spiced Spuds

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - Chicken Broth Low sodium
  2. 1/4 cups - Pure Maple Syrup
  3. 3 tablespoons - Chopped Pecans
  4. 2 tablespoons - Ghee Butter Cubed (chilled)
  5. 3 1/2 pounds - Sweet Potatoes Peeled and sliced
  6. 1 cups - Shallots Sliced
  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons - Chili Powder
  8. 1/2 teaspoons - Smoked Paprika

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375*
Butter a 13x9 baking dish. In a medium bowl , combine sweet potatoes, shallots, chilli powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper to taste. scoop mixture into prepared dish.

Pour broth and maple syrup over potatoes. Sprinkle pecans evenly over top and dot with butter. Cover with foil and bake for 20 mins. Remove foil and continue to bake until potatoes are tender ( about 10 more minutes)
