Sweet and Sour Pork

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pounds - boneless pork
  2. 1 teaspoons - sherry
  3. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  4. 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
  5. 1 - egg
  6. 1 tablespoons - flour
  7. 2 1/2 tablespoons - cornstarch
  8. 3 cups - onions bite size pieces
  9. 1/2 - cucumber bite size pieces
  10. 1 cloves - garlic
  11. 1 - or 2 medium carrots cut lengthwise, bit size
  12. - mushrooms
  13. 1/4 cups - catsup
  14. 1 teaspoons - soya sauce
  15. 1/4 cups - vinegar
  16. 1/4 cups - sugar
  17. 3/4 cups - water
  18. 5 tablespoons - oil
  19. 1 pounds - boneless pork

  21. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  22. 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
  23. 1 - egg
  24. 1 tablespoons - flour
  25. 2 1/2 tablespoons - cornstarch
  26. 3 cups - onions bite size pieces
  27. 1/2 - cucumber bite size pieces
  28. 1 cloves - garlic
  29. 1 - or 2 medium carrots cut lengthwise, bit size
  30. - mushrooms
  31. 1/4 cups - catsup
  32. 1 teaspoons - soya sauce
  33. 1/4 cups - vinegar
  34. 1/4 cups - sugar
  35. 3/4 cups - water
  36. 5 tablespoons - oil

Directions:

1. Combine meat, salt, pepper and sherry.
2. Beat egg slowly with flour, and 1 tbsp. cornstarch. Coat meat in egg mixture. Fry in deep oil.
3. Deep fry cucumber, carrots, mushrooms and onion.
4. Mix sauce ingredients, 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch, water, and oil. Stir until thick.
5. Toss all together and heat.
