Ingredients:
- 1 cups - Dried Lentils Sorted and washed
- 1/3 cups - Brown Rice
- 4 cups - Water
- 1 - Onion Chopped or sliced
- 1 - Carrot Chopped or Sliced
- 2 - Potatoes Chopped
- - Green Pepper Chopped
- 1 cups - Fresh Tomatoes Chopped
- 1 cloves - Garlic Crushed
- 1 - Bay Leaf
- 1/2 teaspoons - Basil
- 1 tablespoons - Braggs Liquid Aminos
- 1 tablespoons - Lemon Juice
- 1 tablespoons - Molasses
- 1 tablespoons - Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tablespoons - Olive or grape seed oil
Directions:
Sauté chopped onions and garlic in oil for a few minutes. Add lentils, bay leaf, rice and water and bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer covered for 30 minutes. Add carrots, potatoes and green peppers and continue simmering another 30 minutes. Add tomatoes, the rest of the seasonings and cook another 30 minutes. Serve hot.
