  • Notes:

Scallions come in huge bunches, but I rarely ever use more than a handful. If you have leftover fresh scallions, dice them up as you would normally, then throw into a ziploc freezer bag and store them in the freezer. The flavor won’t be quite as strong after they’ve been frozen, but they keep for months and you’ll always have scallions on hand when you need them!

Number of Servings:

Ingredients:

  1. 1 teaspoons - Chili paste (I like sambal oelek)
  2. 1/4 cups - Soy sauce
  3. 1/4 cups - Rice vinegar
  4. 1 teaspoons - Sesame oil
  5. 1 teaspoons - Agave nectar
  6. 1 tablespoons - Scallions
  7. 1 teaspoons - Chili paste (I like sambal oelek)
  8. 1/4 cups - Soy sauce
  9. 1/4 cups - Rice vinegar
  10. 1 teaspoons - Sesame oil
  11. 1 teaspoons - Agave nectar
  12. 1 tablespoons - Scallions

Directions:

Stir together the chili paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and agave. Add the scallions and let the mixture sit at room temperature for 5-10 mins to meld the flavors. If you want more spice, stir in a little more chili paste.
