Sugar Ray's Body Blow Ribs Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 cups - dark brown sugar
  2. 1 1/4 cups - sugar
  3. 1/2 cups - salt
  4. 1/4 cups - ground black pepper
  5. 1/4 cups - paprika
  6. 2 - slabs baby back ribs
  7. 2 cups - ketchup
  8. 2/3 cups - brown sugar
  9. 1/4 cups - cider vinegar
  10. 2 tablespoons - molasses
  11. 1 tablespoons - Worcestershire sauce
  12. 1 tablespoons - paprika
  13. 2 teaspoons - salt
  14. 2 teaspoons - dry mustard
  15. 1 teaspoons - onion powder
  16. 1 teaspoons - garlic powder
  17. 1/2 teaspoons - crushed red pepper flakes
  18. 1 1/2 cups - dark brown sugar
  19. 1 1/4 cups - sugar
  20. 1/2 cups - salt
  21. 1/4 cups - ground black pepper
  22. 1/4 cups - paprika
  23. 2 - slabs baby back ribs
  24. 2 cups - ketchup
  25. 2/3 cups - brown sugar
  26. 1/4 cups - cider vinegar
  27. 2 tablespoons - molasses
  28. 1 tablespoons - Worcestershire sauce
  29. 1 tablespoons - paprika
  30. 2 teaspoons - salt
  31. 2 teaspoons - dry mustard
  32. 1 teaspoons - onion powder
  33. 1 teaspoons - garlic powder
  34. 1/2 teaspoons - crushed red pepper flakes

Directions:

1. Combine all the ingredients for the dry rub in a small mixing bowl. Rub the ribs with the dry rub. Wrap in plastic wrap and let marinate in refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.

2. Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.

3. Place ribs on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover tightly with foil and place in middle rack of oven. Let roast for 2 1/2 hours.

For the BBQ Sauce:
4. Add all the ingredients to a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce to a low simmer. Let simmer for 25 minutes, on low heat, stirring occasionally.

5. Preheat grill to medium heat.

6. Take ribs out of the oven and place on grill to finish. Cook for 20 more minutes, turning and basting with sauce. Remove from grill and serve as either racks or cut into ribs.
