Ingredients:
- 1 cups - Butter Softened
- 1 1/2 cups - Sugar
- 1 - Egg
- 1 teaspoons - Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 teaspoons - Almond Extract
- 2 1/2 cups - Flour
- 1 teaspoons - Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoons - Cream of Tartar
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Add egg and extracts; mix well. Combine flour, soda, and cream of tartar in a separate bowl. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Shape into a ball and chill for 1-2 hours.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/8 in. thickness. Make desired shapes and place on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 6-8 min.
