Stuffed Pepper Soup

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cans - (28 oz) tomato sauce
  2. 1 cans - (28 oz) diced tomatoes undrained
  3. 2 cups - cooked rice
  4. 2 cups - chopped green peppers or a variety of colors, if you have them
  5. 2 cubes - beef bouillon
  6. 2 teaspoons - salt
  7. 1 teaspoons - pepper
  8. 1/2 cups - brown sugar
  9. 2 pounds - ground beef browned and drained

Directions:

For the Crock-Pot:
Cook beef until browned, drain.
Cook rice according to package instructions.
Mix all ingredients in crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.

For the Stovetop:
Cook beef in dutch oven; drain.
Cook rice.
Add all ingredients to ground beef and bring to boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until peppers are tender.
