Ingredients:
- 2 cans - (28 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cans - (28 oz) diced tomatoes undrained
- 2 cups - cooked rice
- 2 cups - chopped green peppers or a variety of colors, if you have them
- 2 cubes - beef bouillon
- 2 teaspoons - salt
- 1 teaspoons - pepper
- 1/2 cups - brown sugar
- 2 pounds - ground beef browned and drained
Directions:
For the Crock-Pot:
Cook beef until browned, drain.
Cook rice according to package instructions.
Mix all ingredients in crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
For the Stovetop:
Cook beef in dutch oven; drain.
Cook rice.
Add all ingredients to ground beef and bring to boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until peppers are tender.
