Stuffed Jalapeno Firecrackers

Ingredients:

  1. 12 - jalapeno peppers halved lengthwise
  2. 8 ounces - pineapple cream cheese softened
  3. 12 slices - jalapeno bacon cut in half
  4. 1 dashes - garlic powder
  5. 4 ounces - cheddar cheese finely grated

Directions:

Fill the jalapeno peppers with cream cheese. Sprinkle garlic powder over cream cheese; sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Wrap each stuffed jalapeno with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
Place wrapped jalapeno peppers on a rack on top of a cookie sheet (to allow bacon drippings to drain). Bake at 350° F for 25-30 minutes until bacon is nearly done. Then broil for about 5 minutes to crisp up the bacon. Serve immediately.
