sticky chicken

Ingredients:

  1. 1 kg - chicken drum and wings
  2. - sea salt and black pepper
  3. 1 tbles - olive oil
  4. 1 - red onion
  5. 3 - cloves garlic, minced
  6. 1 cup - tomato sauce
  7. 1 cup - whole grain mustard
  8. 1 cup - runny honey
  9. 2 tbles - brown sugar
  10. 1 tbles - smoked paprika
  11. 1 tps - cayenne pepper
  12. 3 tbles - Worcester sauce
  13. 3 tbles - balsamic vinegar
  14. handful - each sesame seeds, finely sliced long green chilli, to garnish
  15. - steamed basmati rice

Directions:

Remove skin from chicken. Put in roasting pan.

Make up sauce, sauté onion, garlic, etc. add in rest of sauces and spices. Cook 5 mins. Pour over chicken. Roast, basting often, for 1 and 1/4 hours

Garnish with scattering of sesame seeds and chilli, serve on rice
