    Can substitute eggs with wood ears/ chinese fungus. Add fungus with pork to cook at start.

Ingredients:

  1. 2 kilograms - Belly Pork cubed with/without bones
  2. 4 - eggs boiled
  3. 5 cloves - garlic smashed
  4. 5 slices - ginger sliced
  5. 3 pieces - dried star anise
  6. 3 cups - water to cover completely
  7. 2 tablespoons - black soya sauce to colour
  8. 1 teaspoons - salt to taste
  9. 3 tablespoons - sugar to taste

Directions:

Boil eggs separately and peel in cold water. Roll around on cloth to ensure easy peel. Slow cook pork with all ingredients except eggs for 4 hrs high or 8hrs slow. When pork is nearly done, add boiled eggs for another 1hr. Reduce sauce over stove if required.
