Spinach Pear Salad

Ingredients:

  1. 3 cups - baby spinach washed, dried
  2. 3 - medium-ripe yellow pears cored, cut into slices
  3. 2 tablespoons - crumbled blue cheese
  4. 2 tablespoons - balsamic vinegar
  5. 3 tablespoons - extra virgin olive oil
  6. 3 tablespoons - orange juice
  7. - salt to taste
  8. 1 cloves - garlic crushed
  9. 1/4 cups - chopped walnuts toasted

Directions:

In a salad bowl, place spinach, pears, and cheese.

In a separate container, whisk together dressing ingredients, except walnuts, and toss with salad.

Toast walnuts on a baking sheet in the oven heated to 325 degrees F.

Sprinkle walnuts, while still warm, over the salad. Serve.
