Spicy Chipotle Barbecue Sausage Bites

  1. 28 ounces - Barbecue sauce
  2. 18 ounces - Cherry preserves
  3. 3 - Canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  4. 1/2 cups - Water
  5. 1 tablespoons - Adobo sauce from can
  6. ounces - Cocktail-size smoked sausages


Whisk together barbecue sauce, cherry preserves, and next 3 ingredients in a sauce pan over medium-high heat; bring to a boil. Add smoked sausages, and return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes. Serve individually with toothpicks, or on miniature rolls.
