Spiced Party Nuts

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 teaspoons - cumin
  2. 1/2 teaspoons - chili powder
  3. 1/2 teaspoons - curry
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - garlic salt
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - cayenne
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - ground ginger
  7. 1/4 teaspoons - cinnamon
  8. 2 tablespoons - coconut oil
  9. 2 cups - shelled, whole almonds, filberts, pecan halves
  10. 1 tablespoons - coarse kosher salt (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix all spices and set aside.

Heat oil in skillet over low heat. Add spice mixture and stir well. Simmer 3-4 minutes to mellow flavor.

Place nuts in mixing bowl. Add spice mixture and toss well.

Spread nuts on baking sheet in single layer. Bake 15 minutes, shaking pan once or twice.

Remove from baking sheet and toss with any spices and oil left on the pan. Sprinkle with salt and more garlic salt if desired. Let rest in cool place 2 hours.
