1. Fruit sugar gives a slightly different taste 2. Can use orange flower water instead of vanilla. 3. Can bake in 2 8" x 4" loaf pans instead of 8" x 8" pan.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cups - butter (or margarine)
- 1 cups - sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 - orange
- 1 cups - sour cream
- 1 teaspoons - baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 1 teaspoons - vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups - flour
- 1/2 cups - butter (or margarine)
- 1 cups - sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 - orange
- 1 cups - sour cream
- 1 teaspoons - baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 1 teaspoons - vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups - flour
Directions:
1. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and beat well.
2. Chop the orange and put the skin and pulp, but no seeds, in a processor or put through a grinder. Add to butter and sugar.
3. Add sour cream, baking soda, salt and vanilla.
4. Add the flour in 3 lots.
5. Bake in an 8" x 8" pan at 350° for 1 hour or until done.
