I received this recipe from my very close friend Carole Wood in 1975. This year I made 8 of them at Christmas for our guys in the shelter. This cake is always enjoyed.

Ingredients:
- 3/4 cups - butter
- 1 1/2 cups - sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons - vanilla
- 3 cups - flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons - baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups - sour cream (regular)
- 3/4 cups - brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons - cinnamon
- 3/4 cups - chopped walnuts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325° F.
Cream butter and sugar together; add the eggs, salt and vanilla, beating well. Mix dry ingredients into the mixture alternately with the sour cream until well blended.
Pour half of the batter into a well-greased angel food cake pan (with removable bottom); mix the filling ingredients, and spread half of that mixture over the batter, then pour remaining batter into the pan, topping with remaining streusel filling.
Bake about 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Rest on a wire rack for 10 minutes or so and remove sides. Allow to cool completely before removing the bottom.
