Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 2 sticks - margarine
  2. 1 cups - sugar
  3. 2 - eggs beaten
  4. 1 cups - sour cream
  5. 2 cups - flour
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  7. 1 teaspoons - baking soda
  8. 1 teaspoons - baking powder
  9. 2 teaspoons - vanilla
  10. 1 1/2 cups - light brown sugar
  11. 1 1/2 cups - chopped pecans
  12. 2 teaspoons - cinnamon

Directions:

Cream softened margarine and sugar. Beat in the eggs and sour cream.

Sift together dry ingredients and add to butter mixture.

Pour half of batter into greased and floured 9-x-13-inch baking pan; sprinkle 1/2 of topping mixture over batter in pan. Spread remaining batter on top, then top with rest of topping.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes. Cool and cut.

For muffins, use greased & floured muffin pan and bake 25 minutes.
