Sour Cream Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - Shortening
  2. 1 cups - Sugar
  3. 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
  4. 2 whole - Eggs well-beaten
  5. 1 cups - Ripe Bananas mashed
  6. 1/2 cups - Sour Cream
  7. 1 teaspoons - Baking Soda
  8. 2 cups - Flour
  9. 2/3 cups - Nuts chopped

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease an 8" loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, beat the shortening with the sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the salt, eggs, bananas, sour cream, and baking soda. Stir in the flour and the nuts.
Turn batter into prepared pan and bake for 45-60 minutes. Cool slightly before turning out of pan.
