Sopapilla Cheesecake

Ingredients:

  1. 2 packages - 8 oz. cream cheese
  2. 2 packages - 8 oz. crescent roll dough
  3. 1 cups - sugar
  4. 1 teaspoons - vanilla extract
  5. 1/2 cups - butter melted
  6. 3/4 cups - cinnamon sugar see below
  7. 3/4 cups - sugar
  8. 1 tablespoons - cinnamon

Directions:

1. Make cinnamon sugar mixture by combining the 3/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon; set aside.

2. Unroll one package of crescent rolls and flatten into the bottom of a 9-x-13-inch Pyrex dish.

3. Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl.

4. Spread mixture over the flattened crescent rolls.

5. Unroll second package of crescent rolls and place on top of cream cheese mixture.

6. Pour the 1/2 cup melted butter on top of the crescent rolls.

7. Top with cinnamon sugar mixture.

8. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes (we like it to be a little crispy on top).
