Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - Crisco shortening
  2. 1 1/2 cups - sugar
  3. 2 - large eggs
  4. 2 3/4 cups - flour
  5. 2 teaspoons - cream of tartar
  6. 1 teaspoons - baking soda
  7. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  8. 2 teaspoons - sugar
  9. 2 teaspoons - cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Cream together the Crisco, sugar and eggs.

In a separate bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Once sifted together, add to the creamed mixture in other bowl.

In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.

Roll into balls the size of a walnut and roll into the topping. Place on a greased cookie sheet (2 inches apart). Bake for 10-15 minutes.

Allow cookies to cool; enjoy.
