This was just one of my many favorites from my Grandmother. She passed it down to me before she passed away. Family favorite!

Ingredients:
- 1 cups - Crisco shortening
- 1 1/2 cups - sugar
- 2 - large eggs
- 2 3/4 cups - flour
- 2 teaspoons - cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoons - baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoons - salt
- 2 teaspoons - sugar
- 2 teaspoons - cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Cream together the Crisco, sugar and eggs.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Once sifted together, add to the creamed mixture in other bowl.
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
Roll into balls the size of a walnut and roll into the topping. Place on a greased cookie sheet (2 inches apart). Bake for 10-15 minutes.
Allow cookies to cool; enjoy.
