I have made these as bars as well. Just spread in prepared 9x13 pan and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Will turn out more cakey than when made as cookies. Not sure on number of servings when made as individual cookies. It will depend on how big you roll your cookies! Mine tend to be bigger, especially if the kids are rolling them!

Ingredients:
- 1 cups - shortening (margarine sticks)
- 1/2 cups - sugar
- 2 whole - eggs
- 2 3/4 cups - flour
- 2 teaspoons - cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoons - baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoons - salt
- 2 tablespoons - sugar
- 2 teaspoons - cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°.
Mix shortening or margarine, 1/2 c sugar, and eggs.
In separate bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Blend with shortening mixture. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Mix together sugar and cinnamon.
Roll 1" balls of dough in sugar mixture.
Bake at 375° for 6 minutes.
