Ingredients:
- - (thinly sliced)
- 2 - (15oz) cans of Red Beans
- 1/2 - red onion, chopped
- 2 1/2 - cups of water
- 1 - Tbsp butter
- 1 - (15oz) can of diced tomatoes
- 1 - cup rice
- 1 - tsp cayenne pepper (If you don�t like spicy, make this 1/4Tsp)
- 1 - tsp ancho chili powder
- 1 - tsp white pepper
- 3 - Bay leaves
Directions:
Place all of your ingredients into the slow cooker and stir to mix everything well. Allow to cook all day on low for 6 hours (if with rice), or up to 8 hours without rice. Serve with cornbread and enjoy! (I like to take a whole piece and mix it up really well, YUM!)
