Ingredients:
- 3 cups - dried white navy beans soaked overnight
- 1 1/2 cups - ketchup
- 1 1/2 cups - water
- 1/4 cups - molasses
- 1 - Vidalia or other sweet onion chopped
- 1 tablespoons - ground mustard
- 6 slices - bacon chopped
- 1 cups - firmly packed dark brown sugar
- - kosher salt and ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Drain beans after soaking, and place them in the insert of a 4-quart slow cooker. Add ketchup, water, molasses, onion, mustard, bacon, brown sugar, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
2. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High for 4 to 5 hours. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve immediately,.
