Ingredients:
- 8 ounces - Cream Cheese
- 1/4 cups - Butter room temperature
- 3 tablespoons - Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 tablespoons - Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups - All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 cups - Fruit Preserves optional
- - Powdered Sugar for sprinkling
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Beat in the vanilla extract. Gradually blend in the flour.
On a floured surface, roll the dough out to a thickness of 1/4 inch. Using a 2-inch cookie cutter (or other shape), cut and place 1 inch part on the prepared baking sheets. If desired, place a dab of fruit preserves in the center of each cookie.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until lightly colored. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and transfer to wire racks to cool.
