Shrimp Etouffe

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - Butter
  2. 3/4 cups - Onion Chopped into small pieces
  3. 1/2 cups - Green bell pepper Chopped into small pieces
  4. 1/3 cups - Celery Chopped into small pieces
  5. 1 cloves - Garlic
  6. 4 tablespoons - Flour
  7. 1 cups - Tomato juice
  8. 1/2 cans - Celery soup Undiluted
  9. 2 pounds - Shrimp Cleaned and cooked
  10. - Pepper, to taste
  11. - Tobasco or Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning, t taste

Directions:

1. Cook first 5 ingredients for 15 min., until soft.

2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Season to taste. Cook together until shrimp is cooked.

3. Serve immediately over rice, white or brown.
