Shrimp and Dill

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 pounds - butter
  2. 1/4 teaspoons - cayenne pepper
  3. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  4. 1 teaspoons - grated onions
  5. 1/2 cups - sherry
  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons - dill weed (fresh)
  7. 1 - lemon juiced
  8. 6 - egg yolks
  9. 1 1/2 cups - heavy cream
  10. 2 pounds - shrimp boiled, peeled

Directions:

Saute onion in butter with salt and pepper. Add sherry, dill weed and lemon juice and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Beat egg yolks and cream well; add SLOWLY to hot mixture. Stir until thickened, then add shrimp and heat through.
