Sheperd's Pie with Tater Tots

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pounds - ground beef 80/20
  2. 1/2 cups - onions diced
  3. 1 cloves - garlic diced
  4. 2 tablespoons - flour
  5. 1 cans - beef consomme 10 oz
  6. 1/2 cups - milk
  7. 2 teaspoons - Worcestershire sauce
  8. 1 bags - mixed vegetables 12 oz
  9. 1/2 teaspoons - black pepper ground
  10. 1 bags - tater tots 30 oz
  11. 1 cups - cheddar cheese shredded

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees
In a large skillet, brown ground beef with the diced onion and garlic.
Add the flour to the beef and stir until dissolved. On medium heat, whisk in the consomme and milk. Stirring constantly, cook until the mixture has thickened and is bubbly.
Stir in the W sauce, black pepper, and mixed vegetables.
Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top of the hamburger and vegetables, then top with tater tots.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until tots are golden brown and sauce is bubbling
