Sheet Cake Brownies with Frosting

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - butter softened
  2. 1 cups - sugar
  3. 4 - eggs
  4. 1 cans - chocolate syrup 16 ounces
  5. 1 teaspoons - vanilla extract
  6. 1 cups - flour
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  8. 1 cups - sugar
  9. 1/3 cups - butter
  10. 1/3 cups - milk
  11. 2/3 cups - chocolate chips
  12. 2/3 cups - miniature marshmallows

Directions:

In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in chocolate syrup and vanilla. Add the flour and salt until well blended.
Pour into a greased 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean (top of brownies may still appear wet). Cool on a wire rack for 15-20 minutes.
For frosting, combine sugar, butter and milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, and then boil until sugar is dissolved. (This process may take 10 minutes or more altogether). Remove from the heat; stir in chocolate chips and marshmallows until melted. Pour over brownies and spread evenly. Refrigerate for 5 minutes before cutting.
