Seven Layer Salad

  1. 1 - large head of lettuce torn in pieces
  2. 1 packages - 10 oz. frozen green peas slightly cooked and cooled
  3. 1/2 cups - chopped green pepper
  4. 1/4 cups - sliced green onion
  5. 2 cups - sliced celery
  6. 2 cups - Hellman's mayonnaise
  7. 1 cups - to 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  8. 8 slices - bacon cooked and crumbled


Be sure all vegetables are DRY.

Layer in a large serving bowl the lettuce, peas, green pepper, green onion and celery.

Top with mayonnaise spread over all. Add cheddar cheese on top.

Cover and refrigerate overnight. Add bacon pieces on top when ready to serve.
