- 1 cups - margarine
- 4 cups - flour
- 1/4 cups - sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons - salt
- 2 - eggs beaten slightly
- 1 cups - milk scalded
- 1 packages - dry yeast
- 1/4 cups - warm water
- - melted margarine
- 1 cups - sugar (brown or white)
- 3/4 teaspoons - cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups - powdered (10x) sugar
- 2 tablespoons - soft butter
- 1 tablespoons - to 2 Tbsp. hot water
Combine sugar, salt and flour. Cut in margarine.
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add eggs, milk and yeast mixture to dry ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
Combine cinnamon and sugar for filling. Roll 1/2 of dough into a rectangle shape. Spread with melted margarine; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture. Roll up and cut into 1-inch slices for rolls. Repeat with remaining 1/2 of dough.
Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 18-24 minutes.
For Glaze: Beat together hot water, butter and powdered sugar until smooth glaze is formed. Serve rolls drizzled with glaze.
