Sauteed Shrimp

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tablespoons - extra-virgin olive oil
  2. 4 cloves - garlic minced
  3. 1 1/2 pounds - large shrimp tails on, peeled, deveined
  4. 2 tablespoons - chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  5. 2 tablespoons - chopped fresh oregano
  6. 1 pinchs - crushed red pepper flakes
  7. 1/2 cups - dry white wine
  8. - coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
  9. - lemon wedges for serving

Directions:

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add garlic and cook until soft, but not browned, about 1 to 2 minutes.

Add shrimp, parsley, oregano and red pepper flakes; cook, stirring frequently, until shrimp are bright pink and opaque, about 2 minutes.

Raise heat to medium-high and add wine. Continue cooking until most of liquid has evaporated.

Remove from heat; season with salt and pepper. Serve hot, with lemon wedges on the side.
