Ingredients:
- 1/2 cups - pecans chopped, optional
- 16 ounces - Jimmy Dean Premium Pork sausage sage or regular
- 2 cups - celery chopped
- 1 cups - onion finely chopped
- 4 cups - cornbread toasted, chopped
- 1/4 cups - fresh parsley chopped
- 1 teaspoons - poultry seasoning
- 1 cups - chicken broth
- 1 - egg lightly beaten
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Cook sausage, celery and onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes or until sausage is thoroughly cooked; drain. Spoon into a large bowl.
2. Add cornbread, parsley and seasoning; mix lightly. Add in the broth and egg and mix until well blended. Stir in the pecans.
3. Spoon into lightly greased 2-quart casserole or baking dish; cover and bake for 45 minutes, uncovering the dish after 35 minutes; bake until thoroughly heated.
